You know those ads we see from the 80s for the laughably underpowered computers with even more hilarious pricing (compared to today). This article is going to be one of those in 10 years. Just thought I'd throw that out there, because that's what I thought as soon as I read about it.
One where I still have a job.
And I'll be damned if they didn't get it 9 times out of 10. It's what I hated about working for a corporation. Granted, now I work for the often demonized "corporate", and I've had a few instances in my postion to flat out tell customers to stick it. Though it's rare, basically if a complaint gets to me all other…
Biggest bar tab I've ever had was $532 (before tip). I was at my company Christmas party a few years ago (which was held at a bar, food was covered but drinks were not) and I bought ONE round. I should mention there were 60+ people there... and I'm terrible at math. I really should've thought that through before I…
I'm not a tech, but I have years of experience in the industry (not on BMWs specifically, but all makes/models of cars), and while reading this story I thought "is this that drive by wire-ish system BMW has?" and now that I know it isn't, that it's a mechanical linkage I totally agree. It's BS, it sounds like customer…
I was in Dubai for a conference with my old job once... loved my time there even if I didn't get to see much of Dubai besides the airport and my hotel. Speaking of which, I'd like to vacation there, and the hotels are stupid expensive... how comfortable is your couch?
Very true, wheel spin does not mean you are taking a corner properly. The opposite is true in fact.
Edge wear is usually a sign of a bad alignment and not taking corners too fast... at least in my experience uneven wear on a tire is either an alignment issue or tire under/over inflation. Hooning accounts for a VERY small percentage of the uneven edge wear I've seen. I just don't want readers to see this and think…
I have to agree, he also jumped to the conclusion that it's "crap" by reading one article and seeing one picture. I don't believe we have enough information to jump to a conclusion like that yet.
I approve.
Ah yes, my buddy works there, how could I forget!
Dammit, my hometown of Troy is getting a bad rap as of late. First this Janice Daniels nutjob, and now this. It's not as bad as it sounds, I promise! I grew up there, I loved living there. Hell I used to hang out at Somerset with my friends in high school. Now I live in West Chester, PA home of Bam Margera (and former…
We've all been there before, in fact I was thinking about it the other night when I swung by my local bodega to grab an overpriced 6 pack (gotta love PA) at midnight, and found out they closed at 11:30. I thought, for a brief moment, about ramming into the building. But then I remembered I have a job, and people who…
I don't know fellas (and Skay), I need to know how this Hume guy feels about wagons, El Caminos, Australian muscle cars, and old Volvos before I can really pass judgement.
I went to high school with one of the Giacalone's, he was a year younger then me so I had no idea he was going to school with me. That is until I was in Spanish class (which was mixed sophomore/junior), and the teacher was doing roll. She calls "Giacalone" and I immediately turn around and say "Hey, where's Hoffa…
You're missing the point... I wanted a Magnum, I didn't want a Volvo/Audi/Mercedes/BMW, I wanted a Dodge Magnum. Why? Because I did, 'nuff said. Why did I put so much money into it? Because I could, and again because I wanted to. It's very un-Jalop of you (oh yeah, I just went there) to question me doing what I did...…
Will they book tickets for me 24/7? Yes. In any language? I'm not sure but they do have translators on staff that work with me when I deal with customers that don't speak my native tongue. Do they remote into my phone? No, but I could probably have them do that if I really wanted, they do have access to my work email…
Nope, even with the added bonuses it's not NEAR worth it. I pay for a concierge service, it's cheaper then what you might think, and the time it saves me is awesome. also I can't afford, nor do I even desire any of these phones or accessories.
Awesome! I can't wait to watch this. Finally Netflix will be more then a way for me to watch old Family Guy on my lunch break.
