Unreal,....at this point I don't know why you'd purchase a Tesla.  Maybe 5 years ago I guess, but with all the great EV options out there now I feel they need to be taught a lesson about customer service.

Personal opinion: anybody who pays up-front for a piece of software which has no contractually obligated deliverables or timeframes, is a sucker.

Anyone else bothered that huge corporation is allowed to do unregulated testing on public roads, with thousands of non-consenting test subjects on the road with them? If that Tesla decides to turn into oncoming traffic, or an occupied crosswalk, lives could be forever altered.

Why the hell is is company allowed to sell this shit in the first place?! People are actually paying tesla to test their shit! Unbefuckinglievable. Maybe they’ll stop when someone (else) dies.

Watch full video. Multiple direct crashes were imminent without driver paying significant attention.

Hard to believe NHTSA allows this on a car.

This is not what we want to see in a public road in a system released to the general public.

It would still be a problem because it’s unsafe software being beta-tested on public roads.

The back up manual release:

No V12, no deal.

Start citing fucks so the gov can get some money back. How they gonna recover from all those hand outs?

How much did you rubes shell out for this feature in your pre order?

I spent like an hour test driving a model 3 which i though was great and drove well i just couldn’t get pass the excess wind/tire noise and all the uneven panel gaps.

I’ll enjoy the far far far superior quality of my Chevy Bolt.

You realize US companies do that all the time already? Tax differences between owning or leasing equipment. Contracting a company to provide employees rather than hiring them to avoid the responsibility of insuring/training/providing health care, etc. It’s byzantine and complete bullshit that corporations are allowed

I mean....we are dragging our feet with simple steps that help the climate....you think we were actually going to get autonomous cars in a few years? We are decades away from that, if ever.

I think its outrageous that Tesla is able to keep doing this. Between the name "Auto Pilot" and the use of the customers as development drivers/guinea pigs it is just crazy!

Why wait for them automonotonous cars to come out? Wait til your car turns 16 and it can drive itself!

This is the absolute truth. Well put.

This is like marrying the most beautiful woman (or man; I don’t judge) in the world and then never having sex!
