Still not as silly as the C-Class I see at work every day, misbadged as a ‘CLS 300'. Probably built on a Friday... during Oktoberfest.

A Tiguan ends up costing over $70k ?!?! What kind of psychotic idiots would pay over $70k for a VW? (No offense to Phateon buyers).

Lest we forget the vast, plentiful network of dillerships already in place. Pretty much overnight, chargers can be installed and the Tesla Supercharger network will seem comparatively sparse.

∆ Prince Jefri's buddy has entered the chat.

Perhaps the CR-V is the worst in the windy city. In Pittsburgh, it is tinted out 300s with Bentley grilles. And in Florida? As we all know from Bill of Curious Cars and Autohaus of Naples, formerly of AutoEuropa Naples... ANY Korean car is the worst. Oh how I love his rants on nitwit drivers. 'I assure you, NO ONE

Furthermore, some of us need to get our minds out of the gutter.

That’s great that you want to be a part of it. The problem is that it is forcing all other motorists to be a guinea pig for Tesla too. I definitely don't want to be an unwilling test subject to develop tech so Tesla owners can sleep or play on their phones instead of pay attention and drive responsibly.

But it’s been proven that AutoPilot is statistically safer than human drivers. So I guess that gives Tesla and their customers carte blanche to do whatever kind of testing they want on the roads. And it’s all for the holy goal of safety in the end, right?

Why wait for them automonotonous cars to come out? Wait til your car turns 16 and it can drive itself!

Considering the reams of paperwork involved with titling, insurance, registration, transferring all your info from an old car to a new one, I am delighted to pass this off to professionals. And it certainly shouldn’t be a volunteer service.

Nice to hear some of yinz are standing up for dealers. Unlike the people who visit Jalopnik, a large portion of car buyers are clueless about cars and the features they have. Let’s not skewer the folks that spend 50-60 hours a week helping people make this huge financial decision!

If you’re 6' tall or more, prepare for less stretch out room. I’ve got the same gen Legacy as your Ahtback. More front legroom than the S-Class of the era. It's slow but soothing to drive. Hope to keep mine for 20 years actually.

Some are! I would love to see an article depicting cars that have proven to be wise investments. With actual stats too. How cool would that be? Such as ‘I bought a 94 Supra Turbo for $36k... sold for $128.’ ‘F40 for $500k... sold for $1.4 mil.’ and so on...

Ah... the ol’ Subie BRZ / Scion/Toyota FR-S effect! There’s a vociferous, passionate group pining to purchase a car... An automaker makes that car... then faces the harsh reality that you can't sell the same car to the same folks who already bought the car.

This is precisely why my local Whole Foods hires a valet company to both valet cars and direct traffic around major holidays. There was less tumult during the fall of The Berlin Wall than there is in Whole Foods at these times.

I LLLLOVE flipping off the flip offs in my car. Metal pedals feel nice to the toe, but even more so, the floor mat. It feels very Rolls-Roycie, as I use a thick bath mat atop my actual floor mat. So so cushy!

I once owned a used 2001 Infiniti I30 I got for $6k. On several occasions, I’d spend wayyy too much time cleaning it. For a moment I’d wonder what time it was, reach for the key to turn it on to check the time on the display...

Renters? Just wake up half an hour early before work. Drive to a gas station with an EV charger. Hope that no other EVs are there. Loiter around for 20-30 minutes. Have a snack! Stretch your legs! EV ownership for renters will be so merry!

Tee hee! That guy is having a superb day indeed! Nice clip!
