Which tablet does this supposedly look like?

What tablet does this supposedly look like?

But it doesn't look like an iPad.

A lot of the Prime's failures will be a direct result of the platform, because this device exists as an Android device, so it has to be judged as a whole. Honeycomb was a disaster. ICS still feels unfinished. Far more finished than any previous Android version, but still incomplete. I think it always will feel that

The Xoom had both SD and HDMI...10 months ago.

Ah, sorry, I thought you were talking about the original 'It means "it doesn't look a little like an iPad, it looks a LOT like an iPad"' comment.

The OS, by nature, is just as limited as iOS. So it has nothing to do with me being or not being an Apple fan.

The point was, even with a keyboard, it's still just a tablet with a keyboard. It's not a fully featured laptop. As is any other tablet with a keyboard. Mainly, because a comparable laptop would most likely actually be cheaper. Everything else you mentioned can be done on any tablet, not just the Prime. It's not some

Apple may not always have 100% original never-before-seen design ideas. I never really see anyone saying they do. But they do take ideas and actually improve upon them and make them their own. Lately, with tablets, it seems the competition would rather just make their stuff look like the successful one, and then

And Apple is supposed to be the one with the cult-like following. Guess Google copied that too :)

Well, then I guess it's good that no one is talking about the original transformer, huh?

Well, like it or not, the iPad sets the bar. Until a time where a device takes a big enough chunk out the iPad's success, everything that comes out will be viewed in that tone. The iPad is the device to compare it to, because it's the device that every Android tablet is chasing.

They noted a few things in the "No Like" section. I'd argue for it to get 5 full stars there would be little to nothing there. It's not perfect. But what's wrong with that? They still say it's easily the best Android tablet there is. Are you just sad cause they didn't come right out and call it an iPad killer?

6 months ago, the Xoom was "the best constructed, fastest Android tablet out there."

OH yeah, absolutely nothing alike. So far, Motorola is the only manufacturer even willing to take a risk and not make an iPad looking clone tablet.

Chrome fanboy-ism may be more hilarious than all the other types of fanboys.

It's running an OS with a superbly limited application selection. Calling it an "ultra-portable laptop" just because you can attach a keyboard is more than a little inaccurate. That being said, you can buy bluetooth cases and keyboards for the iPad for less than $150, putting it right back in the same realm, so as for

It means "it doesn't look a little like an iPad, it looks a LOT like an iPad"

Fake? Probably. But so awesome.
