Even Spike wouldn't have de Gaulle to do that…

Tie me kangaroo down, sport
Tie me kangaroo down

aw man, that one kicked all kinds of ass, but Lens was the highlight for me this second season… Fargo and The Leftovers dusted everything else on TV this fall.

True, re: an 'early' review coming on this episode, vs. the ones before it. Still a pretty great ep of television, but I see what you mean by it being a 'dud.'

I was SO hoping for Frozen Donkey Wheel 2.0… :-(

Right. is there an Equinox he's a member of, and they have one in Miracle? Was there one in that upstate-NY town? Is he finding time to keep that shit cut during the hours we don't see?

Same. Every once in a while, as a straight dude, I'm like 'I get it.' The whole David Beckham thing, I get it. Theroux's bathroom deal, same.

It's a LITuation, yo…. it's like LIThuania up in here… like mad LIThography up in this bitch!!

Ha, I remember those.. right, Master Sound. Man, they came up with all kinds of shit for people to spend their money on, didn't they? But hey, last one in the store, and that's a rockin-ass album. I hear there was actually something to those SACDs (Super Audio or something..?..) but I am still skeptical.

but the liner notes on these mp4 files are so hard to read.. Additionally, DRAGON'S LAIR/SPACE ACE!!1!!

Betamax came to mind immediately for me, too. I bet I could have one and pull it out, and it would still impress. It was ahead of its time, for an mp3 player, and I was always impressed seeing it in the wild, saying to myself "this guy or gal gets it."

YES! That was pretty great. I sometimes think of getting one off of Ebay just because I loved its construction and the UI so much. Wonderful device, didn't get its due (at least as far as sales and notoriety) imo. I also loved wireless sync too, wish more devices did that (although it may be impractical nowadays).

My intro into Windows mobile came by way of the Zune HD. It was a beautifully made and designed device, and the first introduction to what would be the much-admired Metro UI style (at least well-admired at the outset). I loved the hell out of that thing, and if they could have made it a phone I'd have been all-in,

Michael Steele as hype man,
Armstrong Williams on the Beat Box
= unfuckwitttable

Et 'walla,' of course! How could I forget about that? I am embarrassed in myself.

Don't forget a Christmas tree and decorations, if memory serves…

we fooled around, but she never let me euchre…

Aww, but Dr. Detroit was THE MAN!

ahh what do he know??

if you mean the movie, yeah, that was a lot darker than I was expecting, for sure. I appreciated their sticking to the story for the most part for the rest of it.. poor guy from Hung…
