Define “learn a language”. Does it mean communicate in a touristy city enough to survive a week of vacation? Or does it mean speak fluently enough to be able to live in the country and perform job duties there? Other than basic survival skills, you simply can’t learn ANY language, no matter how simple, in 20-50 weeks.…
