Come to think of it, is Trump the only costume ever to not have a sexy version of it? It's too difficult for even the slutty costume industry to make him sexy. I guess his suits are so oversized and untailored that to make them skimpier and tighter just turns them into normal suits.

I once made Robert Duvall laugh. I don't even remember what I said (it was 20 years ago), but the man actually chortled. It's… been downhill ever since.

Alan Alda was mesmerizing. Glad it was him and not Joe Pesci as Louis originally was envisioning. Though that would have been interesting, too, just in a totally different way.

The 3 episode arc where Louie auditions to take over for Letterman is a brilliant little standalone movie.

I just saw Putney Swope after hearing about it on The Canon podcast. It's apparently a huge influence on Louis CK and one of his favorites. After watching it, Louie makes even more sense to me. Certain ways it is shot, it's odd casting, it's surreal touches like the helicopter opening, all manifest themselves in

There is also no accidental comedy quite as genius as the Magnets video. That video is always sure to improve my mood, so stupidly hysterical. Hell, I'll go find it now….

And "Cold Blows The Wind" is masterpiece. The version they did on their All Request Live album is gorgeous.

Coming down here to say that. The Mollusk rules and does negate the article's premise.

As much as I like Michelle Obama, I really hope she never runs for anything because she has committed three sins for Republicans: she has the Obama name, she's black, AND a woman.
*Redneck heads explode*
If she runs, we seriously would end up with President Kid Rock because the assholes would vote for anyone other

My high school actually did a field trip to the theater for that one. The entire high school was bussed in the morning and they showed it on multiple screens. Pretty crazy to consider a school doing that now.

Not to get Jill Soloway up until n arms again, but wasn't Data their take on It's Pat?

She's gonna get so kinja'd in the new paradigm

That whole scene is brilliant in that you're not wholly on or wholly against either side. As arrogantly dopey as the execs are, the writers are arrogant in their intellectualism, too. We agree with the writers when mocking the execs, but we're with her in that silent look she gives the writer after the Cerberus line.

In that case, get a chazzwozzer, too

"Branding" has become my company's favorite new buzzword. Decades too late. Of course, I work in regional theatre, so the corporate culture is always late, like western pop culture in Romania.

Back to the coal mines we go

That Ernie was a special kind of dipshit, wasn't he?
