Ya, but there's some killer guitar work on that album. The opening from We Are All On Drugs (with a little help from the synth) and the solos on Hold Me and Haunt You Every Day are some of my all-time favorites from them.
Buddy Holly for sure. The end of Only In Dreams, the beginning of Holiday, the call and response on Say It Ain't So—they'd also all be good picks in my book.
I much prefer the Architecture cover over the original.
