I am reading this as you agree with me... .most of these flat noses have been within the last model redesign. 7/5/3 bmws. audis are more flat. the new ford nose, the grill is higher and protrudes farther forward.

front end looks about the same.

I think most cars are getting an "aston" grill cuz of the pedestrian front end requirements. A lot of new cars are getting a flat nose for some reason. Just because it is a trapezoid doesn't mean it looks aston. In fact, this grill is pretty in line w/ the Legacy and BRZ grill shapes.
