I know what you mean.. and knowing that APPs are going away on chrome it makes it even more painful for us note-takers.

Back in the day, Google used to have “apps” that you could install on their home page. I totally forget what they called it. One of the apps that I miss the most was sticky notes. You could create any colored sticky note and post it anywhere on their home page.
