This is a faulty assumption as they only recently launched the service. If this was actually the case they could have just waited a couple of months and rolled it out in January after the rush of holiday sales and post holiday trade ins.

Why would the initially plan it for mid November if Christmas was going to be an issue? Did they forget about it while planning? Doesn’t make much sense...
I have not said anything good about Gamestop in a very long time, but quite honestly, this program is very intriguing. In some respects, it’s a win-win for company and customers with a very specific buying habit.
They canceled this service right as the Chrismas buying season kicks into high gear? Its almost like they want all their used games on shelves for purchase right about now, isn’t it?
