The arguments for Google buying its own car company is probably much like them building their own phones (i.e. the Pixel phones). Namely, that at some point you need to conform the overall hardware to your software to optimize your software’s performance. Without that, OEM’s are simply competing with each other for…
Google already tried that with phones when they bought the phone division of Motorola. Google ended up selling them for a loss a few years later. I doubt Google will try something like that again. It requires significantly less capital to just partner with another company and still have the ability to earn some extra…
Considering that the company has developed one... O-N-E all new volume product in their 7 years of existence tells me they’re very tight on money. Literally every vehicle in their volume car/truck range except the Pacifica is on a platform that debuted before 2009.
The 488's design is cohesive while the J50 looks like each part of it was done by a different designer. The profile of the side doesn’t match the front and neither match the back.

It is a silly comparison when you are comparing an unstroked and unbored M5 V10 to a bored and stroked Ford engine with additional custom work.
Sorry, but, Chris Harris Vulcan review > Jeremy Clarkson Vulcan review
I adore the Casio on Schumacher’s wheel!
That video brings back memories. I discovered it back in 2001 which sent me on an insane quest for more which lead me to here.
You misspelled Gordon Murray.
I had an angel-meat and unicorn-egg omelette for breakfast today and it was just okay.
Is this your first day on the internet?
They still sell this monstrosity???
Yep it’s called ‘the retarded 1% ruining it for the other 99%’.
