The original 33 is one of the best looking cars ever made IMO. This new design simply doesn’t do it justice.

It’s shocking how well it has held up. I'd argue the interior design has also aged well with the nsx style seats (though of course no huge ipads everywhere)
Came down to comment on this. This segment is absolutely legendary and has to be in the top ten segments ever made on the show, along with the reliant rocket and Toyota Hilux.
Yeah this is super pointless, its like emulating gas engines sounds in an electric car. On a side note, I wonder if designing an automatic movement to take advantage of a car’s specific acceleration and deceleration profile is possible?
Tome it sound like a Russ Hannamen reference from silicon valley, but it’s possible they took it from somewhere else too..
Yes! Pastels could be amazing and so much more interesting than what's currently on the road!
God that is so 90s, I dig!
I’ve never been much of a convertible guy, but I’m not gonna lie that is hot AF. Something about the whale tail spoiler+ drop top is just perfect
Yah most wanted was overated, but hot pursuit 2? That thing was magic! Infact it’s the second best NFS after Porsche unleashed. Don't judge it by modern standards but rather for what it was at the time, which was magnificent!
It sure does feel this way. The company isn’t so new anymore but still doesn’t seem to be able to function like a fully fledged automaker. It can’t handle development of multiple new vehicles at once, and certainly can’t meet its own time lines (for reference the VAG auto group develops dozens of new cars…
Agreed, feels like they lost their way after the Murcielago and Gallardo
There are plenty of NBA players with enough cash for private jets, but the question isn’t whether or not they can buy them but rather should they? A driver having a private jet is a luxury not a necessity, their alternative is certainly not flying coach.
NBA players don't all own private jets but they still get to their matches on time and that's because their teams have jets. I assume most teams in F1 do as well.
Does the facelift look as bad in real life as it does in the photos? It was so unique and now it's just... So bland...
Agree re: convenience, was commenting regarding price parity.
In many places in Europe (and the US) it’s already cheaper to fly than take a train, reason being the maintenance of the tracks is super expensive
Congrats Maybach, you designed a Rolls Royce. Everything from the grill through the round headlights, slab sides and hood are all Rolls Royce.
I know exactly what you mean, and surprisingly it's different from Toyotas of the same era!
If I had the money I would pay whatever it takes to own one of these. I think its got so much more character than any supercar made since.
What I find fascinating is that some people actually believe this will be made. It really is a full on cult at this point. How does anyone find this even remotely feasible? How does he go on stage and talk about it with a straight face?
