I gotta disagree with you here. Just in this article, this system is described as seemingly “capable of autonomous driving at roughly the same level as Tesla’s autopilot.”
Musk did offer Hotz a couple million dollars to develop this under Tesla, but Hotz refused because he’s not doing this for the money.
