The reason I wanted a chromecast is because I bought movies in HD from Google Play on my Nexus 7 when traveling, but I wanted to watch them in HD on my TV as well. The easiest way to do that was with the chromecast. The Roku won't let you do that.

Here's another interesting tidbit: they say the Alfa Romeo roadster version will have a 1.4-liter turbo engine developed by the folks at Fiat, as well as a dual-clutch transmission. That sounds fun too.
