As a guy who has painted his nails (though without the skill to do Kermit), I suggest you try it sometime, if for no other reason than the slight, dislocating feeling of, "Holy shit, those aren't my hands!" every time you look at them.

This is my boy. He is happy and healthy, and gives no fucks what you think!

how about

I liked all of this up until the dog video.

They loved their son so much that they killed their daughter.

That's why my vodka soaked tampons go up my tush.

I do the same things I do to keep my face young, no using my ladytown to smoke and limit it's exposure to the sun.

"I'm completely down with a generation of young people growing up hearing football players chant "no means no.""

So they should have bought the seat next to them, even if they are not going to use it. That's going to go over a lot better with the flight crew than "I bought a seat back there somewhere but she's going to sit up here with us". Using that messed-up logic, they might as well have just bought a ticket for her on a

Im I'm so glad they did! As a fellow PAC-12er I was rooting for the ducks and after I saw the video I'm happy I did.

I think you should re-think your position. Saying that what the Oregon players did trivializes rape and sexual assault is somewhat true. Similarly, the ALS ice bucket challenge trivialized ALS by making a fun attention grabbing game out of it. That's the same as what the Oregon players did here...they grabbed

You've convinced me. It makes sense - at the very least, if FSU is going to turn a blind eye to sexual assault, if they're going to do everything i their power to make sure that a rapist gets to play football without any punishment, then for whatever reason they're chanting it, it's not a bad thing to always be a bug

I don't follow college football, so the only thing I associate with FSU is that the school and community bent over backwards to ignore a rape accusation against some football dummy with impulse control issues. So what's so bad about the school and community being associated with rape? That's entirely based on their

I guess Anna thinks that people should just shut up about the rape in this context. I disagree.

Call me crazy, but I don't think this trivializes the victim at all. Are these dudes paragons of the feminist mindset? No, probably not. But I think its helpful to remind people, loudly and with choreography, that Winston is a scumbag rapist.

Truth. We're always saying that we need to marshall social opprobrium against rapists, because the whole point of rape culture is that they bank on nobody really caring or holding anything against them. But then when actual social opprobrium falls on Winston — people showing him open disrespect — we're going to

THANK YOU! People on one account say that others need to "step up" and say something to shame people do who rape, but when it's done, they don't like the context so it's "trivial" and meaningless? Not getting that. At all.

Now had they actually raped Winston they could have gotten off scott-free. Assuming the local cops handled the investigation. Sports is all FUBAR.

Anna...this is why people make fun if Jezebel. Posts like this.

The whole game was a trivialization of sexual assault. The announcers were hammering on the fact that FSU had a chip on their shoulders because they felt the country was against them, and against Winston in particular, and they never, EVER mentioned why.
