Thanks, I feel like I should go back and tip them a little more! I only get my hair cut about twice a year, and it's pretty straightforward (the cut took 15 minutes, including shampoo and blowdry), so I'm kind of out of the loop.

Portland has wonderful weather, contrary to popular belief. It's mild and comfy all year (rarely do we go below freezing or above 90 c), and the rain is more of a mist than a hard rain (not always, but mostly).

I just think it's odd. Hating a group of people based on the fact that they're experiencing a part of life that every single one of us has experienced. It's like saying I hate people that poop. I may not love poop, but I certainly don't hold it against anyone, especially since I poop too.

I tend to think it's probably about the same as it's always been. There are different ways bad behavior manifests itself. But the ratio of bad:good behavior hasn't changed much.

Because we all started out the same way. As kids. To have such an active dislike towards something everyone has experienced seems, well, weirdly self-loathing.
