In my city, the pedestrians are the most entitled of the bunch! They will literally walk in front of you/into traffic without looking. And they teach their kids to do the same thing!

That's exactly what I would do when my boys are teens. But in general, we've always been a very huggy family. They also say "love you" whenever we part ways/get off the phone. I'm a lucky Mom!

Thanks!

I tried translating this to English and had no luck... What does it mean?

Great point about the therapist, and I absolutely agree that there should be a safe outlet for women. But there's got to be a way to do so without including the children in that knowledge.

At least the kids will have each other to bitch about their mom.

I am enjoying the hell out of my adult children!

As a newish empty-nester, let me tell you - it does get better!

It says you're smart! My second husband and I ended our marriage primarily over the fact that I couldn't have any(more) kids.

This seems like the exact kind of thing you should talk to privately with a therapist. I think you make a great point and I kept trying to keep that in my head the whole time I was reading this, but I just couldn't get that niggling thought about their kids hearing about how unwanted they were and how damaging that

I'm a woman, with a healthy thyroid and I would wear my underwear on a flight if they'd let me!

I am always a sweating mess on planes. I now wear tank tops under whatever else I'm wearing when I fly.

Never! I refuse to admit that I ever had a mullet! IT WAS A BI-LEVEL! (this is a sensitive subject for me)

It was a bi-level! (I will never admit to having a mullet)

It's a bi-level not a mullet! Mullets didn't enter the picture until dudes started wearing them. Business in front, party in back!

Have you tried the dollar bill trick? Dear old Dad taught me that one!

Nooooo! Not Captain Kangaroo! You've just completely marred my childhood!

Starred for the Chuck reference!

If she's anything like her brother Frankie on Big Brother, she's about as far away from sweet as you can get.

Be that as it may, it is accepted usage now. It kills me that "irregardless" is now acceptable, but there it is.
