It may be trite, but 'tis true.
It may be trite, but 'tis true.
I think they all do.
Once again, I'm sorry I made that original post. It is very offensive. I really do think all bodies are beautiful.
I really regret my initial post. Incidentally, my grandma used to say that (lid for every pot), so your post made me smile.
I wish there was a way to respond to all, because I'm sure nobody will scroll down enough to read this.
As a flat-chested, big-assed woman I've been accused of being too thin and too fat. It sucks, and I wish I'd never made a comment about this, but clearly it's a sensitive subject for everyone.
I totally get that. As someone who has always been short and chunky I totally get that. I didn't call anyone ugly, but this mannequin looks emaciated, not just having obvious ribs.
I understand that. But this mannequin has no fat anywhere. Which is just fine, but it doesn't appeal to the average woman, which is faulty?/bad?/je ne sais quois? advertising. Is this really an ideal? (not that there's anything wrong with that body type, but I, nor the common woman, can relate)
Ribs sticking out is one thing, and I understand the concept of marketing. But this goes beyond the pale. As an a grown-ass woman (who's considered thin), there is no way in hell I would buy this lingerie based on the mannequin's representation. But that's just me.
Does anyone (male or female) think this is a good look? Enough fat to be healthy is a sexy look, imo.
They're on The Bachelor, I don't think a soul is required.
They all look the same to me.
I'm glad I'm not the only one. Just stop!
Well aren't you just precious. *pats you on the head condescendingly.
Thank you, just thank you.
I hated that facial hair, but somehow he looks even worse in this photo.
Not trying to be snarky, but I thought Casey Kasem (RIP) died a number of years ago. Clearly I was wrong, but I'm still surprised.
Yeah, I got that, to which I say - Fuck that. I prefer my own definition.
Young love = relationships less than two years old; an old relationship that keeps that youthful play.
I'll admit I did not read the article, but I think of young love as being in the throes of passion in the first year of a new relationship, no matter what your age.
