Go Jays?

April of this year—the beginning of the baseball season—Indians owner Paul Dolan said the team would move away from using the demeaning depiction of a supposed Native American, instead making the block-letter “C” the team’s primary logo.

Waiting for the “It was Russia” excuses rather than talk about the content of the emails. So tired of deflection in politics.

Certainly these funds would in no way be raised from the Wall Street bankers that Clinton definitely does not represent, no she is extremely anti-bank how dare you suggest that

“I couldn’t disagree with this “review” anymore.”

Interesting how varied feelings are on this game. I agree with you that it feels much like a BO3 reskin, however I found myself really enjoying the movement system (still not “boots on the ground” but the boosting has definitely been tempered a bit compared to BO3, which in my opinion is a good thing) and TTK didn’t

Not a review. These are just my impression from the beta. I enjoyed myself overall and found myself playing a lot more than I expected. It might not please everyone but for what it is worth considering, I had a good time.

Real Sports on HBO did a bit on the strike zone recently and how some nerds figured out using their nerd shit that like 20% of balls & strikes are called incorrectly during the course of a single game. They also found the percentages favor the home team.

With regards to not being on the right conspiracy track, Mark Simon at ESPN came to a different conclusion.

Jose has a history of complaining, which, as a Jays fan, it’s tough to handle. However, there is a feeling in Canada that the fix is in against the Jays. The theory goes that American audiences will care less about an ALCS or World Series if a Canadian team is involved, so any time there is a marginal call it’s in the

Jays fan, so I’m biased but I agree with Bautista. Diaz did give the Jays some calls as well, but I didn’t recall it resulting in any strike outs like it did for Cleveland. In game 2, the top of the 9th trailing by a run, Encarnacion went down on 3-2 on a breaking ball that was clearly up and away and he was

Bautista isn’t implying the series is rigged, Mike Vorkunov is. Bautista is simply complaining about the strike zone, but can’t say the umpires are shitty because he’ll get fined. Vorkunov editorialized with a headline and everyone else ran with it.

Actual statistical analysis (within the link, not simply because it’s ESPN) begs to differ.

Likely true, but it’s being called both ways. In game 1, there were at least 2 Estrada pitches that were well outside the strike zone that were called. Today is a new day and the Jays are at home; let’s hope for a win!

In the interest of putting forth a dissenting piece, we have this:

Martin could also stop grounding into inning-ending DP’s.

That is mean. No-one deserves a fate such as playing for the Marlins.

Big Jays fan here. Jose can’t catch up to the ball. He’s lost some steam and has no idea how to reconcile with that. He knows he’s blown a chance for big $$’s and, because he’s basically an asshole, lashes out like a child. The Cleveland’s are on the border with great pitches. Our guys are loading up to try and take

TO fan here. Bautista’s act hasn’t changed in years. He’s always had a poor relationship with umpires. The problem now is he is 1/2 the player he used to be.
