Lately, I have found that MobileMe synchronisation works perfectly for me - across 2 iPhones, 2 MacBooks and 1 Windows XP PC.

@subterfunk: With OS X, you should have no more than 85 GB in use for a 100 GB drive. Otherwise your system will run slowly.

@curt_ehrhart: My 2002 PowerBook brick/cord/end is still in perfect nick. My 2006 MacBook brick - no problems. They have been wrapped/unwrapped most days for most of their lives? What are you doing to the cords to make them break?

@justinpe: This is nothing to do with market domination - it is bad design. On iOS all processes run as "root" (i.e. Administrator). This is like the bad old days of Windows...

How bizarre - "which is the best WINDOWS firewall?" you ask and then you give "your router" as a choice.
