I unlocked all of my iPhones during my round of 12 upgrades and it all went through pretty seamless.  I know that YMMV but there are really only a few rules, like own the phones.

I didn’t know people still had issues trying to get their phones unlocked.  It’s almost always yourcarrier.com/unlock and it gets unlocked within 48 hours if you’ve paid off the phone.

We buy them pretty regularly, and my in-laws actually own a decent size operation for them outside of Visalia.  Recently at the store we picked them up for $5/lb which is crazy low as I’ve never seen them under $7 without buying in bulk.

Sounds like we won’t know their true power until it can be run with a 5600X and compatible MB for all the unlocked potential. With AMD being the only real company with true vertical integration possible at this point it will be interesting to see how big of a jump you can get from going red all the way.
