The mask was awful. But I don’t think graphics or bad cg ruin otherwise good movies. I think of the 99 Mummy which effects wise hasn’t aged well but is still a fun romp.

The only problem I have is my Aldis aisles are set up so they don't really "loop." You have to backtrack to get everything.

A local little fancy grocery by me has something that sounds very similar. I believe it has pesto as well, and it is incredible. The bread is absolutely necessary. It also has sun-dried tomatoes, probably because it’s easier to keep those consistent.

I attended a mid-size public University in an area known for meat pasties, which I had had growing up, so not quite the thing.

Could you... create a small platform inside a dutch oven so a cake pan doesn’t rest on the bottom? I’m overthinking this.

I can see why people would want these, but at this point I’d just get strips/tenders. Nugget has come to mean a specific processed food for me. Sometimes, I want to slum it a little.

I thought this was going to be more of a smashburger vs pubburger vs sliders at home type thing.

No jetski.

When do I need to spray citrus juice? This is something I have never needed to do.

Now I’m suddenly hungry for cheesecake.

Yeah. I’m not a big fan of people’s “take” on stuff. If you’ve given a special name, it’s got a specific way to do it. Drives me nuts, especially with sandwiches, etc.

The Wendy’s Spicy Chicken Sandwich has remained virtually unchanged since its introduction, and it has not aged well. Sad to say. I had one a few weeks ago and it is nowhere near the quality of the Popeye’s.

I like this take. It’s not that hard to make a good Chicago Dog. It’s such a codified item. Still shocking how many poor ones I’ve had - either they’re missing the relish, or the wrong bun, or some skinless monstrosity. Airport ones are usually exactly good.

But then how does the salami crisp up? Crisp deli meats are the only way to deli meat a pizza. I think you were trying to be too kind. This looks like something Fry would make on Futurama.

This was my exact idea.

No mention of Dream Whip? I thought it was stupid, but it sure does work for making whipped cream! It’s a powder of (I’m assuming) dried fat you add to milk. It’s not as good as actual whipping cream, but it works well enough for most stuff.

This is why “oh yeah, the graphics are amazing” is not a great argument to get me to play a game. I admire and enjoy excellent graphics and art design, but if the gameplay is broken and the story sucks and the game’s not fun, what’s the point?

More than brand, it’s the cooking. I hate goopy, soft noodles. It’s hard to undercook them just right, but its so much better.

I have a hard time telling the ships apart, but this S5 battle was still edge-of-my-seat. And I knew what was going to happen! (read the books). It didn’t get good reviews on a lot of sites I read, but I thought it was terrific.

I always weigh my ingredients and it pisses me off when only a few ingredients are given in grams/oz. The tea/tablespoon range, less, so, but there’s such an ease when you can tare and pour.
