It’s the same problem with pot roast. People boil the hell out of everything too much. If you don’t like boiled potatoes and carrots in general, I can’t see you coming around. But the beef takes a long simmer, then the veg and the cabbage is supposed to be added at the end and really just get blanched almost - it

Wait - do they mean the restaurant or the root beer?

I think A&W in the states is pretty good, but it has WAY more gradient between locations. The good ones are real good, but it’s really weird - it’s not as dependable as McDonald’s or similar.

Oh, Canada. My MIL’s home and native land. She grew up in Ontario in a city I don’t recall the name of. I’ve been camping at Turkey Point several times. We visited Port Dover with nephews who insisted we go to a Chinese restaurant for lunch. They ordered cheeseburgers, which was not too pleasant, as this was not a

I love Shaq, but this was one of the worst pizzas I’ve ever eaten. I only bought it because of Shaq and the name.

This is on par with Dinosaur Train with ideas that sound kind of stupid, but are actually EXACTLY what small children love.

There have been the weirdest ordering experience of my life. There have been two McDs that will only sell these ala carte and two i was able to get in a value meal.

HA-YES!

It always depends on how long the drive is - although it never really matters with pizza place wings. I’ll eat them, but only if they taste all right. I’ve never had a pizza place wing with proper wing texture.

I thought it was great casting. Mark Strong as Sivana was my off-casting. The Sivana arc was the only part I didn’t really enjoy - I like mad-scientist Sivana and it was the early Sivana sections that were off-tone for me.

But, it was a good villain for the movie and I really enjoyed it overall! Excited for a sequel.

I agree. I think we’ve seen the best “serious” take on Batman already. Can we get something more in line with Brave and the Bold or even ‘66 again? Maybe not that extreme, but I think its entirely possible to have some fun.

On 2nd thought, I’d love to be as extreme as Brave and the Bold. The current DCU Aquaman could

Man, Shazam was a nice surprise. I think it had some tone problems, but about halfway through it really started delivering. I’m sure there will be some contrivance where the full family can’t help out for whatever reason, but oh well. It was really a lot of fun.

The movie is great. Visually incredible, so satisfying. It’s on my shelf with “Speed Racer” has highly underrated.

Same here. It is impossible to find a decent USB-C cord that works in my bizarre port. Right now, the only cord that works is my kids’ Switch charger. I really only have wireless as an option most places because my charging port is so persnickety.

I don’t think they can get this right, anyway. Why not do something really nuts like have Shatner star as a time-travelling Kirk trying to find Spock? How is he still alive? I don’t know and I don’t care.

This looks nice. I like the wheat kernel in the middle of the crown, like a little easter egg for people who pay attention.

Break it down, too - it’s real nice. At first glance, you see the circle and the coloring is mostly the same, so you don’t think it’s a different brand.

I didn’t see it mentioned, yet, so I get to be Mr. Know-it-all! I’m pretty sure microwaves led to use as a kitchen appliance because a scientist melted a chocolate bar in his pocket when near one. Not sure how that worked on his skin, but (and I’m not looking it up) I believe he realized the culinary applications at

I saw the same, but then after the finished product, and the chemistry between the leads, you have to wonder if he didn’t want to change his mind.

Hot Dogs aren’t sandwiches. They’re a type of sausage, and the roll is often superfulous.
