The Beauty and the Beast timeline is horribly crazy. There are a ton of plot holes within - but it is a pretty, fun-musical movie.

Naw, I like it too. The title song is pretty solid as a Gospel tune and it was funny. I don't get the hate.

Dr. Tyson is incredibly awesome. The Pluto Files was really good. I emailed him a science question once - and he responded quickly and kindly - just a solid educator. Pretty excited for Cosmos.

Okay, I would put "Community, every episode with any science-fiction anything and also all of Community."

True. I reckon since I don't even remember the pirate episode when thinking back on Who this year, that's well evidence to its inferiority. I find myself thinking about the Doctor's Wife randomly, though.

io9 should randomly add and delete it from the list throughout the week.

I would define Breaking Bad as science-fiction, only because the science on the show plays such a big role much of the time. And its accurate. And, y'know, the show is fiction, so there you go.

No. No, I think you've hit the nail on the head there. Fair? Psh. Maybe if sexy Jesus had punched Hitler, they'd have a higher rating.

Return of the Killer Klowns from Outer Space?

I'll drink to this.

I don't think SOPA is really in io9's wheelhouse. They've got the scoop at Lifehacker, though.

I get it now! And I agree. The time travel is pretty ludicrous, though, but it certainly does work better in I than in II. The amnesia kiss is pretty stupid, too, though, so I wish they'd just kept her knowing or something.

I think the plan was just to use the time travel in Movie 2, but Donner saw the writing on the wall as to his firing and used it in the first movie. What might have been?

Dear God, everything I read about Wizard of Oz's production is trainwreck. You can still get a great movie out of a nightmare production.

Too true. Originally, Superman throws the nuclear warhead that was going to hit Hackensack into space and that triggers the explosion releasing Zod. Changed to the Eiffel Tower in the Lester version.

Just caught it - missing the prologue for Dark Knight! - and enjoyed it quite a bit. I agree with the "See it in IMAX" statement. The whole middle mission in Dubai is fucking insane and I can't imagine it sweeping me up as well on the regular screen, or even TV.

So pissed. This was definitely NOT before my screening of Ghost Protocol.

It's only playing in IMAX until Wednesday, I think, when it opens full on.

It was a pretty interesting anecdote, all right.

If we do "favorite parts' of that movie, we'll be here all night.
