They were still doing it in December, but I do recall the instructor mentioning that they would be dropping it only a few months later - which would be now.

It's so funny - I was quoted this stat that more lives have been saved by people who learned CPR from TV - they compresscompresscompress with no breaths.

Because it's currently 30 compressions 2 breaths?

Normally, Mr. Lamarr, I feel you are somewhat harsher than you need be, but this week, it's the opposite. A second-to-last episode should not be all this wheel spinning bs. The "Lois Calls Off The Wedding" is so predictable a move, I wasn't expecting it. "No way they'll do that kind of nonesense," I thought. "This

I... guess... A brand new car is a pretty terrible investment. A lotto ticket isn't an investment at all.

I'm on the fence about Green Lantern. If its accessible to the normies, it'll take off well enough. I don't think the Apes movie has legs, though. Too many people are going to equate it with the Tim Burton fiasco - I don't really have any urge to see it myself, so maybe that's why I lean that way.

I think this is more akin to a lotto ticket vs a brand new car.

It's not like he needs the mask in the movie much anyway - it's to "protect" his identity. If it's automatic, it should only show up when he's facing someone who can't know who he is. Or is Hal Jordan the normal dude a celebrity?

I agree. They can defend it with "it supposed to look ring-generated" all they want, but it's lame. It should look good, or they should lose it.

I have a suspicion the status quo is being redefined in this episode. Which would be ballsy. It would be the craziest if they've already shown us the final line of the episode - Walternate's "now I'm going to destroy yours" line. That would be mindblowing.

He was pretty flexible when he was acting all nerdy. I suppose much of that is direct comparison to his normal Clark Kent which is indeed as emotive as a 2x4. He mild-mannered it up pretty well, though.

That is pretty brilliant, I think. It helps throw the Silence in as a pretty formidable adversary and gives one pause to all the Doctor has done before.

Yeah, that was really cool. We could very well have seen that, but wouldn't know it - an awesome little mind bender.

Well, yeah. This week. At least last week we saw a little Clark Kenting going on.

This felt like way more a waste than last week. Like they needed to tie up Zod? It was as useless as the Ultraman story, but not nearly as satisfying. Which, given how satisfying that episode was is saying something.

I thought they went nuts this season - but they just keep getting crazier! I am with you - I think the backburner plan is to go out in a blaze of insanity, so they can at least leave it feeling satisfied.
