I think the payload and tow ratings are very heavily influenced by your stopping ability. In other words if your F-150 had a top speed of 15 mph like this little guy its payload rating would probably be somewhere around 4,500 lbs. Switch that up and pretend this truck somehow managed to get to 50 mph and its payload

Mine’s held up fine to the Northeast winters. It lives outside too. Maybe I was lucky.

Comparing the sound of a commercial jet engine to whats on a F-35 is a lot like comparing the noise a stock Ford Fusion or Hyundai Elantra makes to a V8 Mustang or Challenger with the Exhaust removed.

Commercial liners are glorified propeller planes compared to the sound output of an F35.

Probably not, at least after the 50's. You could buy a Ferrari with Campagnolo alloy wheels that LOOK like silver painted steel wheels. I had a set on my Alfa Spider.

That was one of the first things Maximum Bob changed when he came back to GM. To streamline GM “Pontiac” designs specifically to remove all the cladding on the cars. Look at the G6 and the G8 compared to the Grand Prix, Bonneville or the Grand Am.

I’m still trying to figure out why anyone would want this over a Golf.

It’d still pass for “luxury” driving by if it weren’t for those plastic wheel covers on steelies. Why is that still a thing.

I used to work for a collision repair shop, and one day i get from a a guy wanting to repair front end damage on a 4 year old Bentley GT. We did good work but this was not our customer base. This guy also had all sorts of conditions like done in 24 hours, perfect undetectable repair, we not contact anyone; i.e.

Good question and although it was posed with sarcasm, I’ll explain my reasoning:

The Hyundai/Kia of today are not what they were 20 years ago. I’d pick their models largely over what Nissan offers in similar segments.

Over the weekend I rented a couple of cars. One brand new Nissan Sentra and one brand new Hyundai Elantra. Both had less than 5,000 km on them.

Much, much safer than when the car behind you rear-ends the truck in front of you.

Well, you weigh the risks from inside a car very differently than when you are on a motorcycle. It’s actually advised to do something illegal if it is a lower risk scenario than doing the ‘legal’ thing. Cars can be fixed or replaced. A person is just gone or disabled.

It gets worse every year because every day there is a new model cell phone, a more engrossing ap and a new driver on the road who has spent most of their teenage years getting more screentime than sunlight. I recently saw someone doing 60 mph, with a cigarette in one hand and doing Facetime with the other. And look

You shouldn’t have such strong opinions about things you don’t know about.

Or, stay with me on this one, the customer could have been up front about the situation and worked with the poor guy trying to make a living and feed himself. How hard would it have been to give a little detail... unless the customer was clueless to what he had. In that case, 1) he should have said that and 2)

Agreed with the Goodyear experience.
