FWIW - I’ve done a fair number of motorcycle track days and racing schools, and from what I’ve seen the most severe crashes and injuries have been in the fastest/most experienced run group. Over the years, I’ve seen plenty of people in novice or intermediate drop their bikes but nobody in those groups in those times ne

Not surprised that you’re going with more insults when the facts aren’t on your side.

Nope, they sure don’t. And neither does the manufacturer.  Even for the V4 Multistrada, Ducati recommends every 2 years for hydraulic fluids. Page 327 in the owner’s manual.

No, I service managed two of the top 10 Ducati dealerships in the country, owned my own independent shop and I have 30+ years of riding experience.

Clearly Tahoe, Donner, Truckee, Yosemite etc etc don’t exist

This car is just not competitive for range or power for the price point in BEV form. It’s slow and the range is way too short for the price. And a fully loaded Bolt weighs *less* (3,624lbs) even with a much larger battery and a much stronger motor so I don’t buy the weight argument.

Even in California, the range will

Be aware that ethanol provides some of the octane rating in any gas that has it, so stripping it out will noticeably lower the octane rating of the pure gas that’s left. So if your mower needs regular, start with midgrade or premium.

Even Ducati only recommends every 2 years. Changing it every year on a streetbike is unnecessary and wasteful.

Do you change your oil and filter after every ride?

Why would you change your brake and clutch fluid every year? That doesn’t make any sense.

Nope, allll day long. Even if you do your own repairs and maintenance, parts prices are brutal and the W12 totally sucks to work on. The person who bought this - the ad is already deleted - is gonna find out exactly how much they hate having money.

Too bad they went with the sloped liftback instead of the more useful hatchback. Also a drag that the turbo hatchback costs so much more than the last gen since you can’t spec the turbo engine in the Sport any more and have to spend at least $28k on the EX-L to get it. And if you want a stick with the turbo, the

The phrase “uglier than a bag of smashed assholes” comes to mind

Calling an Astro “truck based” is a bit of a stretch. They were unit body with a front bolt-in subframe, used B-body car front suspension and shared an engine/trans with the S-10 trucks and not much else.

Former Ducati/Triumph dealer service manager here (and 11 year camper trailer owner and professional mechanic)

As others have said, motorcycles aren’t even in the same league as boats and RVs for repair frequency and costs. You’d have to buy the most complex, labor intensive maintenance Italian sportbike and then ride

If the trailers were closer (they’re stored 4 hours away) and the racecar hauler wasn’t being used for storage for the last ~8 years that tool would be worth it. I sold my shop over a decade ago and the tire machine and digital wheel balancer along with it. Now Costco does all my tires and I’m ok with that, because

They’re obscuring the reveal because it’s ugly as fuck

^^^ this. Also, you’re (hopefully) not going to catch bedbugs in your own camper, sleeping on the comfortable upgrade mattress you chose yourself, etc. - and compared to a tent, you’re a lot more comfortable on said mattress instead of ending up on the cold ground before dawn because your air mattress leaked. BTDT.

FWIW, back in 2010 I looked at at least two dozen used camper trailers before buying a well kept, decently equipped 9 year old 23' trailer for $4k. And in 2021, my now 20 year old trailer (which is still well kept, with everything functional and no leaks) is possibly worth more than I paid for it back then. Storage
