Does no one here fault the morality of the buyer?!? Jesus H - its like Tom is completely absolving the buyer of any fault, here. Nobody held a gun to the buyer’s head and said “sign here”. This speaks more to the “I deserve a new car” mentality of people than it does to the sales tactics of a car dealer. Dealers are

Yeah, having your head down/ass up isn’t really necessary for a daily rider and especially not for something that’s so damn chonky.

They’re really taking their competition with Tesla seriously.

You’re right, but those are extremely good these days. But they don’t invalidate the argument that 200HP is pointless.Essentially those things allow 200hp bikes because they dont let it use the 200hp,lol

It is just pointless to buy a 200 hp bike for street riding. You simply can’t use it. So what’s the fun? I have a 47 hp bike, coming from a 90 hp bike. I miss the 90 hp when I want to tour two-up, doing 90 mph uphill with a bunch of luggage, but truth be told, riding like that isn’t even fun! I have more fun planning

My 1978 Porsche 911 had 180 horsepower out of the box. My Ducati Multistrada isn’t far behind. It’s pretty crazy.

Agreed. I spent most of my 20s riding old Honda 4s and a VFR800 (heavy, 70-100hp-ish) and borrowed a 1098 for a few hours. It was an experience, and there was one particular highway overtake where I think I briefly entered hyperspace, but it convinced me I do not need or want a bike with that kind of power.

Manual is dead. Sorry.

“A few bucks” is usually at least $50 per flight, sometimes more depending on the airline. Double that if you want to be able to sit with your spouse/partner/etc. for the flights as well.

Yeah, saying you’re not using the space is completely false. For anyone of a decent height (or are overweight), the person reclining in front of them has the following impacts: reduces leg room, lowers the height of the tray table, which can be problematic for those of us with longer legs, moves the tray table closer

I fail to see why this feature/event/certainty is such a surprise and annoyance to people. It’s not space that you’re using. Why does everyone feel so entitled to it?

This 0-60 and top speed stuff is so worthless. Does 2.6 vs 2.8 seconds to 60 make a difference?  What I am interested in is if it is comfortable to drive, reliable, and well come to think about it, that’s it.

You can never be in before them. They’re the fastest.

I like how the two people they quoted essentially said it’s a big deal precisely because of how big a deal the UAW makes about American manufacturing. They didn’t say they’re necessarily upset the pens were made in China, they’re upset at the hypocrisy of hearing their leaders bleating about saving American jobs and

“Much like with spouses, you shouldn’t marry someone just because they show interest. Look for a person’s character first and foremost.”

How many of those were fleet vehicles, though?

Good article - I would also suggest anyone that dreams of owning a restaurant should just go get a job in one for a year because that will give you an insight on the process without going into massive debt first.

Cadillac is now just a fancier alternative to the Suburban, unfortunately.

Because not flaunting your weath is a thing. Though at this point, since everyone knows Land Cruisers are stupid money, I would say more of them just buy the nicer trims of Grand Cherokees if they aren’t going to just buy something mid-priced Swedish or German. I think the Land Cruiser stealth wealth thing is more

Its stealth wealth. You don’t show up to an oil field in West Texas with a Escalade. You either show up in a King Ranch or an LC. People in those industries know what you’re driving because 90% of them drive Tundras.
