And just picture spending R$1k renting a small cubicle of an apartment, R$300 in electricity (also crazy expansive) and around R$500 in monthly groceries for teo people. How do you fit fuel on the equation?

The problem isn’t the absolute value, it’s the relative. For a trucker who makes R$2k a month, spending half of that on fuel alone just to work is infuriating.
Brazilian here. Some corrections are in order:
Will every glass piece on Apple’s iAuto or whatever name it’ll have crack into a bazillion pieces within two weeks of usage?
And I can totally see Apple fanboys crying:
So, is Grimes a SUV or wagon person after all? Mustang or Camaro? Diesel or gas? Manual or double-clutch auto? Ferrari or Lamborghini? WE NEED THE IMPORTANT ANSWERS!!
Sounds slavic for me
I don’t think it’s related to the temperature, but to the viscosity. You see, when a fluid is very viscous, it “drags” and “pulls” the rest of the fluid. When you pull the plug of the oil pan, the oil that was there flows off, and it pulls the rest with it because, when warm, it’s way more viscous.
10k mi? That’s 16k km!! In Brazil even the automakers recommend oil changes at 5k km (3.1k mi) for mineral and 10k km (6.2k mi) for synthetic!
We used 25W60 on our 430k km (~270k mi) VW Santana, whose engine has never been rebuilt!
It’s just me or the convertible is eerily similar to the 90's Mustang? The trapezoidal grille following the hood crevices is identical!
If we consider that most humans can’t drive either... It’s no surprise it’s so hard to build a reliable autonomous car.
Lemme introduce you to the wonderful Chevette Jeans, complete with side pockets on the front seats and on door panels
Sigh, I always forget about the chevette Junior.
They’re 70hp stock, but they can easily get to 200+ hp. Many people do engine swaps with the Opala, building Chepalas with 4.1l inline six engines, or even with the Blazer V6 engines!!!
Funny how the Chevette is revered in Brazil. In fact, it’s considered to be the Brazilian Miata: Dirt cheap, easy to wrench, RWD and, actually, fun.
The Ford Aspire was then good at having four wheels and openable windows?
Agreed!
Why Subary had chosen a prime number for the amount of cupholders instead of rounding it to a non-prime?
The Captiva was seen as a huge status symbol in Brazil. Pretty much every politician had one. Even now when GM replaced it by the Equinox, people still want the Captiva!
