We live in such strange times that the only new concept car from Mitsubishi that isn’t a damn crossover came from their refrigerator division.

These cars sure have amazing torsional rigidity. I’d love to see these tests done with a 60's convertible, just for fun:

At least this doesn’t affects BABYMETAL

VW sold a shitton of these watercooled Kombis here in Brazil, so it wouldn’t be a problem at all. Rio Negrinho is a very small town in my state, and I believe the owner would have no problems finding this part there.

This one has much more structural integrity, the one in Rio Negrinho was hit by a much thinner and lighter tree...

There’s a simple way to turn this both 100x more interesting and to hook much more spectators. Fantasy racing videogames have items and boost pads since the early SNES Mario Kart days, so why not apply these here?

This comment has all. COTD material here.

This VW Bus with Canada plates, in Florianópolis, Brazil, after a 27,000 km trip. They stayed at Florianópolis for a couple of days.

You mean, like this?

Estonia stronk!

No probs :)

Why not?

Now playing

Here in Brazil (where else), somebody put a natural gas converted VW Beetle engine on a freaking Honda Civic. Not only the swap, but the fuel conversion as well.

One day I’ll buy a Lada wagon and swap the engine, transmission, suspension and brakes for capitalist parts. They’re all RWD, imagine the hooning possibilities!

lol, the last candidate who said he was “for the people”, Lula da silva, is formally acused in 7 processes, condenmed to 9 years in jail in another and investigated in 12. Everyone kind of accepted they’re screwed.

That’s the billion dollar question!!! In theory, most goes just to support the mammoth bureaucracy. The state machine is humongous here.

Heavy taxes + lots of them + cascaded “contributions”. You have at least 60% of federal import taxes alone, plus state taxes for each state the product passes, plus an overtax for non-Brazilian produced electronics (to “protect” the national industry) and, over all that, a 7% tax over any transaction, calculated over

There are like 15 in the price range I looked, but if we expand our search, there are currently 463 for sale ;)

Nope, the Ford Dël-Rey was the top-of-the-line car of Brazilian Ford, introduced to replace the Galaxie. Here are some photos of a much better conserved model:

Gurgel is love, Gurgel is life. Too bad I couldn’t find a nice X-15...
