Glolious!

I think the name’s not Valkyrie, but the square root of alkyrie:

How will this work with convertibles?

These photos made me wonder something. Could anyone who has enough photoshop mumbo jumbo skills desuvfy SUVs, turning them into lovely wagons?

Oh, and the 50's vision of what the 2000's would be: Everyone driving Ford Nucleons or any other nuclear powered cars. Imagine having to refuel only once every ten years! And the hazy blue glow of Cherenkov radiation as your lights!

That, one day, all (or most) of the drivers of the entire world turn into petrolheads, ditch their crossovers and SUVs and begin to hoon wagons every day.

At least it isn’t stuck anymore ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

And the inverted gearbox, with 4 reverse speeds and one forward, in case you’re attacked from the back?

“The Campagnola normally made about 72 HP, but the TRM500, fitted with the inline-4 from the Renault 20, shot that number to a stratospheric 75 HP. That’s three more, people.”

This small piece of Dragon Quest reminds me of my dreams of playing a Dynasty Warriors-esque Dragon Quest Warriors. This would be epic.

I don’t know on US, but in Brazil they sell like hotcakes (or popsicles in the summer, as we say here). And they’re all considered “luxury” cars here, even Lancer.

Reminds me a lot of the VW Kombi Last Edition and the Fiat Mille Grazie Mille (the Fiat Uno, later rebadged as the Mille, was introduced in ‘84) in Brazil. When safety regulations changed it was economically unfeasable to adapt these mesozoic projects into the 21st century norms, a.k.a. frontal airbags and ABS.

Isn’t it a bit early for April’s fools?

Compared to that 23 window VW Kombi do you know what’s a real steal? The Brazilian Domestic Market (BDM) Volkswagen Kombi Luxo, the only 6-door VW Bus ever made. Since the Brazilian real exchange is $0.32 USD x R$1 BRL, this one at R$108k or $34,500 USD has a good price. I’d love to see how much one of those would

Try the Bad Translator. It picks up whatever you had written in any language, translates and retranslates, each time in a random language, and in the end returns the corrupted phrase on the original language.

Now playing

“The record for a human withstanding acceleration was 46.2g, which was experienced by an Air Force officer named John Stapp, who was strapped into a rocket sled. Perhaps he was trying to capture a road runner?”

If this was a book or a short story on a book, I’d buy it without thinking twice. I think you’re on something here!

Maybe the same thing happened, but for aviation enthusiasts. The basic technology would be the same, and since the communities were far, far apart, those focused on vintage planes (instead of these autonomous fancy drones, get off my lawn) followed a similar line of evolution.

Thanks for the clarification!!
