Shouldn't that be the Kardashev scale?

@Zazu_Yen: Yeah, more like it's as close to 2D as you can get in the real world.

@Epoch: It's because drawing or writing with your finger is incredibly awkward, clumsy and inefficient. And when you have a tablet, which is basically the ideal digital sketchpad form factor, you kind of want to make use of it.

Hey, if it means we can squeeze more food out of the resources we've got and maybe feed a few more people that we otherwise wouldn't be able to, then I say fucking bring it on.

@cocomojoe2: Shazam saves the clip if it fails too, you know.

@Juaco: I was genuinely considering doing this until I realised I already have an iPhone so it would be utterly pointless to buy one in the first place. Still, cool idea.

@Dadjoe: Heartily agreed. HD is the main reason I still watch iPlayer on my computer rather than my TV/Wii.

I'm going to vote for "anything that'll give me a bloody stylus". I just got an iPad, and the failures that leap out at me are the lack of apps and the lack of any kind of useful stylus that doesn't need you to DIY it or pay through the nose.

@Secretone: I likewise, being in Britain on O2, however, getting more for my 600 quid despite the issue not affecting me is not something I'm going to pass up on.

The only way I can express my feelings towards this is via an emoticon (I'm a victim of the text-message generation, what can I say):

Provided they get the controls right (not making a judgement either way yet, seeing as I have no idea how you would do so and am not enough of an idiot to think I can), this looks to be shaping up as an excellent game. It might actually make me use my wii for the first time in years.

@djsmiley2k: Presumably a fan would still work, as it would disperse the smell of the food as well as that of humans. Don't quote me on that though, haven't run a study or anything like the guys in the article.

@SadAstronaut: I am perfectly fine with names, seeing as names alone can't really do a whole lot, provided you don't post stuff you don't want seen anywhere public (which you shouldn't do anyway, regardless of this change). If they put anything up past that, then I will start to see the concern.

@nanamegami: Trying to phrase this as well as possible so as not to belittle what you've gone through, but how would they figure this out from your name alone?

@Ed Robson: or even still a swiss army knife. Excuse me for being momentarily retarded.
