I get this but I would argue that all the guests are role-playing as straight white men. There are a few black guests in the pilot but because of how the hosts are programmed (to see guests as top dog) they aren’t shown being treated any differently that straight white men. I would bet most straight white dudes aren’t even into it anymore. With the generation who were adults when the book and first movie came out it made sense, those folks were raised on Westerns. But nobody is anymore. Super Mario World would make more sense.
