Awesome video. Let's get those Gingers out of our country, amirite?

@crocuta: Naturally! I was only claiming the big eyes/breasts/hips thing applied to our former neolithic selves, not our modern incarnations.

@crocuta: Depends on the content of your extrapolation. Humans are a lot more like other mammals than we like to think...remember, this isn't strictly speaking psychology, but evolutionary behavior more generally. I agree that we can't guess human psychology — depression and the like — based on animals.

@crocuta: Sure they do — they can test if their hypothesis for human evolution happens in other species' development.

@sarasasa: That's probably true for all scientists.

@Slyd3z: Thanks, I thought I remembered something to that effect.

@Slyd3z: Wider hips, too, and I even remember something about big eyes being evolutionarily desirable. It's been a long time since ANTH101, though.

@femme-bot: That doesn't mean that men don't subconsciously*think* they produce more milk, or that bigger breasts might mean better childbearing, or something.

Wasn't this explained some time ago by the evolutionary need for childbearing...something like "I need a woman to bear many children, and big breasts mean more milk to give more kids."

You all need a lesson in Linguistics. Written prescriptive grammar is nonscientific and generally regarded as out-of-date good ol' boy hokey, borderline racist poppycock.
