I lost my appetite for a great deal of reality TV when VH1 had to cancel all its dating shows in 2009 because a finalist/likely-winner kidnapped and murdered his ex-wife while the show was still airing. I really thought that all the reality-show execs, across all stations, would have committed to better background…

I’m fine with this, just keep offering unlimited breadsticks and salad, that’s your strength. Unlimited basic pasta was fine and a fantastic lunch deal if you were a fan of carbs, but it never was the draw.

Whatever the job, it’s incredibly well-paid, judging by the houses/apartments these people can afford.

I’ll never, ever understand how there are people unable to see right through this piece of shit’s fraudulent lies, bullshit and schemes. I was on a flight on Saturday and the flight attendant made no bones about the mask requirement. She said “I have to wear a mask for 12 hours today and I am having hot flashes. If I can do it, you certainly can wear yours for two hours.” That got a huge round of applause, and deservedly so.

Also, people are like “Why did he suddenly choose to have a child?” Ummm, I don’t think he was suddenly like “Olivia Munn, lady I barely know, let’s make a baby! Right now, while my life is so chaotic!” I think he was like “Olivia Munn, I would like to have sex with you!” And then she was pregnant and he got on board…

Good. Ethan Couch got probation for killing four people while under the influence, because the jury was convinced he was simply too wealthy to understand consequences.

Between this utter failure to conduct a one-minute Google search for Kwan’s credentials and qualifications, and the willful misinterpretation of Ben Affleck’s comments (which seemingly no one in the comments is agreeing with,) it feels especially bad, even by ‘Dirt Bag’ standards.

I don’t understand picking apart what this man said to make him look bad.

Ma’am, you mean Michelle who has a master’s in foreign policy Kwan right? Or Michelle state department advisor Kwan?, or how out Michelle who has served under 2 presidents Kwan? Because even one freaking click to her insta would have informed you that she's qualified. She's spent the last 15 years devoted to politics. 

So, in other words, he always meant that he handled it horribly, was an idiot and selfish asshole, and it was wrong. And some people heard (somehow) “It was my wife and kids’ fault.” I don’t see it, but I guess you really have to want it. 

Even if you are right, that might partly be because she has been treated like a child for decades.

That’s why I think rich and/or famous people need one “regular” friend. The one that can show them how to do regular things. That friend should also be trusted enough that when they tell the rich person “that’s a stupid idea and you may want to rethink it”, the rich person listens.
