Is it just me or are the new fall season shows go by almost unnoticed. There seems to be a lack of discussion all around for the new shows, which is warranted I guess, as I can't find a lot to get excited about.

I liked the symmetry of Reese's story it started with a briefcase and a cruise missile slamming in a building and it ended that way.

I guess we will see more of Richard E Grand. (you don't cast such an actor for a 2 second scene.)
So Arya is gonna be the new "Cersei" in the troupe right?
How the world likes to torture Arya. Now she has to, almost literally, relive the death of her father every day (twice on a Saturday) and keep on smiling.

.

The way the Machine is gonna beat Samaritan is how "recently" big ass chess computers get beaten by an only halve decent chess computer.
Put humans in the decision making loop.
The simulations finch are running is useless as long as the machine and Finch/Root aren't working together. Samaritan is always gonna be faster

That was fun, reading the newbie and expert reviews of this episode. Expert, This is the most frustrating tease in the history of the seven kingdoms. We are waiting decades now and still no answer. Newbie, That was a cool fight by the tower oh and written history is different then actual history.

I watched the first two episodes of Marseille. Like it a lot, but had to put aside a few assumptions. I assumed it would be similar to Boss and the setup is kind of similar so much so that I think it's deliberate. Then you come to the end of episode 2 and all those assumptions were thrown out.
Also there is something

I thought the misdirect at the beginning of the movie was pretty good.
Looking back everything of how the movie is gonna play out is spelled out, but some random red book and talk about amygdalae by Tony, The Vision and Scarlet witch, glossed over the fact that the car crash itself was the most important thing you

From the first episode I wondered if Trix (Beatrice) name was just a nod or if her name is significant plot wise. Beatrice was an angel in the Divine comedy and guided Dante in heaven. So maybe she is the angel that makes Lucifer vulnerable. (Chloe being covered in angel dust.)

I rewatched the opening a second time (The 3 months from now bit) It looks like it was Yo-Yo in the "quinjet" or it was at least implied.

Oh I would love to change the language settings to Chinese, but guess what, you can't. That's why I haven't finished watching it yet. I find dubbed movies very distracting. (I'm Dutch and dubbing is rare overhere.)

One of the things that stayed with me was the sound. Often you heard something from the side or back of the theater before the camera found the source. If I remember correctly many of the set piece action scenes started with a sound somewhere off screen before anything happens. Like the one above in the article.

never expected to like this show and it took a lot of time to get convinced to watch it. Now it's one of my favorite.

Is the pool gonna be a through line? Just like second season breaking bad.

A 2012 film still at no. 3 must be a new record (or more likely a link to the wrong movie)

What about the Ann Lively murder itself. Everybody knew she was murdered, but she was saved. No one witnessed the actual murder after she was saved, but somehow they knew.

Forgot about that. Yes sort of.

It's the reverse. In Dollhouse you kind of followed the bodies with different consciences dropping in. In Altered Carbon the story follows the conscience from body to body. Which made it impossible to adapt so I thought, but someone is thinking differently.

Speculation. This season draws quiet a bit from the man who wasn't there. One of the theories was that the Billy Bob Thornton character was an alien. So, is Peggy maybe an alien?

As soon as Michael Cristopfer showed up, The sentence “That’s a nice tie” popped in my head, and then he actually commented on the tie Tyrell was wearing. I miss Truxton Spangler.
