OK, that was ribbing, right? I think I'm catching on now.

Who's not relaxed? I just said you might want to work on your ribbing, because it doesn't really land, at least not for me. And I don't understand how any of this connects to being offended or not being offended. I'm confused once again. (I'll put a smiley face here so you get my tone, that of relaxed and unoffended.

Might want to work on your ribbing. Anyway, I've noticed this many times with AV Club. Its music articles are always almost exclusively about rock.

Whoops! You're absolutely right, my mistake. And I even had a similar experience, liking "Bridging the Gap" and hating everything else they've done. Doi. No more commenting after a few beers for me.

Whoops! You're absolutely right. My fault. Still, I was hoping to see a little more diversity in the list.

I have no idea what you're talking about. I didn't post a meme; I made an argument. Not a flawless argument, it turns out, but still it was an argument.

Please, please, AV Club, try to hire an African-American person. I'm not saying I don't understand and empathize with some of these entries (full disclosure: I am white), and I'm not saying there should be racial quotas in your writing staff or anything like that. But when a list about American music doesn't contain a

Jake Fogelnest had a great interview with him on his podcast. It reveals what a fascinating, bizarre person Kim Fowley was: http://www.earwolf.com/epis…

Ugh, I was worried about this. I only have commented on AV Club once before, and I got the same reaction, that there was someone else who used a Cookie Monster logo, and it was somehow terribly offensive that I also use one (it's my Facebook picture). And they also assumed I would know all about this other person, as

Wu-Tang Clan is not something with which to mess.

Sure, why not? Anything but white people music. This is a total milk-fest here, man. I should have noticed the scent of lettuce when I came in. I knew there was a reason I never comment in AV Club posts.

I'm flabbergasted by your flabbergastedness. It's nothing but wacky avatars in here. Mine is probably the least wacky of the bunch.

Oh, good God, I'm so sorry! I had no idea that there was a strict rule that no one could have an avatar that is in any way similar to one that this world-famous other person has, whoever he/she is! I have shamed my family. Committing hari-kiri now. Done.

Good God, you people are white. Is there a single album among your choices that in any way involved a single Black African-American person of color in any aspect of its production? Was there a single album that could have concievably even been bought by a person of non-see-through pigmentation? Oh wait, I'm sorry — I

Amen on "Chasing Amy" — that movie made me so mad when I saw it. I've never seen another movie that manages to be both lowbrow and pretentious. I enjoyed "Clerks," but I'm still too scarred from "Chasing Amy" to ever see another Kevin Smith movie.
