I've been hearing about adding salt or salt solution to cocktails. That something like a 0.12% addition will enhance the taste, and mute any bitterness. It's an interesting concept. Definitely why salt rims work on

Still haven't tried Cynar. I have a few other Amaro, so I haven't bought it yet, and I don't want to order a shot of it at a bar.
There's a drink I'd like to try with it that's Campari, Cynar and Fernet. I'm scared, though, because that's got to be the most bitter drink in the world.

I was craving hot chocolate the other day, so I just melted down dark chocolate with whole milk (3.5 oz to 2 cups). It was one of the thickest ones I've had.

Can they be frozen? I've made them before in big batches (like 6lbs of onions), but I had a lot left over and had to eventually throw them out. I'd put them on everything if I could.
