Surely the Veyron had a bad launch. This is a car that can do 0-100 in <3 seconds. It looks like it takes almost 2 seconds to get moving. It also sounded like it was at about 13 RPM.

Exactly. Watch the video in slow motion, the delay in the first movement of the Bugatti’s wheel is much more noticeable.

Formula E is a soulless snooze fest. The tofu burger of motor sports.

Exactly my thoughts. No revs on the start line. And the funny thing is the only advantage it got was from those 2 failures on Veyrons part.

Am I really the only one here that thinks the Veyron lost because of bad reaction and the fact that launch control was not used? (the engine sound is muffled, but you can still hear there are no revs applied on the start line)

Also that reaction time was shit!

But is the Veyron a Grand Sport SuperSport Vitesse Vitamin Volkswagen Dieselgate TDI Edition?

Destroyed? Not even close. The dumbass in the Veyron forgot to hit the gas pedal at the start, but caught him at the finish.

one and a half car lengths is “destroyed”?

Poor reaction time by the Bugatti driver had more to do with the Bugatti losing than anything else.

Meh...why is the Bugatti running in high downforce configuration with wing fully extended?......bullshit race. Veyron FTW.

I knew when I read “destroyed” that the finish would be less than a car length.

You take that back!

If anything this showed me just how quick the Bugatti is.

Can you guys cool it for a couple days on all of the political articles?

I used to own a camp on a 600 acre lake in far Northeastern Vermont. We used to see some ANG pilots getting some hours flying formation over the lake. One afternoon, two pilots came around the mountain at the southern edge of the lake and got DOWN on the water. Leaving a trail of spray, they flew the length of the

Just buy it and fly off. That titanium armor and system redundancy will surely save you from your wife.

I’m totally down for that engineering challenge!

I have no strong feelings one way or the other, but the fact that the A-10’s design is so brutally purpose-driven, makes the design beautiful in the eyes of many.

Excellent news, because basically only two reasons were given for axing it 1) “because change for the sake of change!...” 2) “We spent all this money on the F35 and we have to use it somewhere”
