Most of southern half of Illinois bleeds blue.

”Which is pretty much the same thing as a cross check to the throat.”

Emergency goalies are just that. They are only used in rare instances. It doesn’t benefit an team, or the player, to have a top prospect/backup goaltender sit at the rink and watch, just in the off chance that he is needed.

Discovered it in Jacksonville, in December, a couple years ago. Was good in winter, too.

It may never (read: probably won’t) happen, but I just want one Stanley Cup in my lifetime.

IIHF World Championships are held in non-Olympic years :)

It’s an extra 2 minutes players remove their helmets.

The hole card can be exposed when the dealer removes it from the "shoe." The box looking thing the cards are in.
