I was really hopping for “Mul.E” - being a crossover and sticking with Ford’s equidae themes (mustang, bronco, pinto, etc.)

This was a terrible mistake by the Ford marketing team. They insisted on writing his name as Miles; and the French hated it. If they had used his initials as Ken wished, km, the French would have accepted him.

That is where the “complementary” part comes in. I foresee rebadged Peugeot/Citroens (which are both mainstream brands) for Chrysler.

Unrelated to this story, but this is my last post on Jalopnik for the time being and I wanted to say goodbye to everyone. I’ve absolutely loved my time here and I’ll miss my coworkers and the commenting community a lot. I’m sure you’ll eventually see me here again at some point, but stay tuned to Road & Track where
