I’d be happy to sacrifice the extra safety weight in order to have more fuel efficiency. I never died once while driving/riding in the old “unsafe” cars, and not for a lack of crashing. And if I had, so what? This planet is already lousy with humans, to the point of approaching unsustainability. Give me better fuel…
I rented one of these in Costa Rica to get to Monte Verde and traverse the central mountain range down to the coast. What a lot of fun that was - like riding on the back of a Billy Goat!

Same comment I left to Lightening Zone over on Oppo. My approximation of Johan de Nysschen’s reply to dealers:
Oil change about every 5k & all regular recommended service.
Can I go to pebble beach alone and still have a great time that is worth the experience, an experience that I can only reminisce about with myself in the future?
Only appropriate that on 4th of July the American once again conquers the Brit.
Let me rephrase that for you since that somehow went over your head- Porsche actually delivers on their promises without fault. Tesla has claimed that their car will do X thing and have X feature. The car comes out and X feature doesn’t work and has to be recalled or they push the car’s release back a year since they…
And just to prove their superiority they’re going to achieve all this with the entire motor, control and battery pack mounted behind the back axle....
