Is that true? They have a domestic T20 tournament in England, there are those who want a Aussie/IPL style franchise competition, had no idea this was a reason for not doing so.

They’ve played in Fort Lauderdale once before, would love it if they could play more and elsewhere.
“were retired after scoring just one and four runs respectively, both skying balls that were easily caught by Joe Root.”
Hmm, didn’t the FIFA ethics committee mothball the Garcia Report into FIFA corruption?
On the map, MA and MD are shaped somewhat similarly with the exception of that dip.
How this story was reported in my local news:
Main difference perhaps with Cruyff is that he could have played anywhere on the pitch. And he did.
I have no idea why a St Louis football fan might be pissed off and ready to invent a conspiracy to smear the Rams.
Should be plenty of time to rest these guys when they destroy the 8 seed in the play-offs.
And they should always go for it on 4th and short?
“Now the math is no longer in favor of booming a kick out the back of the end zone.”
I see what you’re saying, I guess it depends on how you define different styles of play. Maybe a bit easier to illustrate with examples...
That’s all true enough, but bigger, stronger, faster =/= more stamina.
No arguments re. the homogenization of playing conditions; but relatively speaking, I see more variety in styles of play and tactics used in the men’s game, than I do in the women’s game. But those differences in style are not as stark as they once were.
An argument against is that women hit fewer service winners, so run more per point on average, and thus extending a match to 5 sets will turn it purely into a test of endurance, rather than one of skill. It really wouldn’t offer the prospect of a more entertaining match.
“The men’s serves are too strong, meaning the women offer more contested points and longer rallies.”
The Jets and Browns jostling for quarterbacks is like two drunks arguing over whose turn it is to chat up the barmaid.
As I read Djokovic’s comments, he’s pointing out that women have to take a career break if they get pregnant. Men obviously don’t. In other words, he could choose to become a parent without making any real career sacrifice, but that’s not an option women have.
No sympathy for him. He’ll probably end up a better team.
if they properly segregated player deposits from operational cash.
