This is like the haters guide to Star Wars, chin-stroking version.

- “But because the NFL hasn’t thought of a way to market Heyward’s gesture the same way they market Leah Still or DeAngelo Williams, he’s getting a fine.”

Yep. After the 2006 selection (which infuriated Blatter), Sepp made sure that no future World Cup vote would turn out differently to how he wanted it. I can very easily believe that Germany brown-enveloped their winning bid, but it was after then that Blatter’s graft machine went into overdrive.

“Is there anything more terrifying than meeting your girlfriend’s parents for the first time?”

I’m torn. The dingers are great, but I would have no complaints if they went deep for fun against the Cardinals and then batted like garbage in the next series.

Pretty amazing how you can write BIG DAILY FANTASY these days and most people won't assume you are referring to the porn industry.

Why were you banned? It probably took his lawyers two years to get their shit together, but I blame Trump.

Pretty sure anything that involves tongue and butt is a trick-or-treat situation.

I would argue that Danny Boyle and Guy Ritchie films don’t belong in the same tree. From the same era, and same country, but that’s about it.

There’s a few people who made similar comments in reply, but I think yours best understood the point I was making. And I think you’re right too, it’s less a knock on the film and more a clarifier for anyone who watched the film today for the first time.

I sometimes think #3 is the most important mental note to make. For someone who’s lived past 80, I think you can always safely say, “he lived a wonderful life and I have many fond memories of him”. When someone dies young, that’s basically nonsense so don’t say it.

You guys are much more expert than me, but Trainspotting is the fucking balls. What puzzles me though is this - you say, “It doesn’t feel as revolutionary or original as it did back in 1996”.
