    That is because you are comparing the RAM to the max trailer V8 versions of the others. You need to be comparing it to the higher mileage gas counterparts like the 2.7 ecoboost and the 4.3 V6. Those have similar trailer ratings as the RAM ecodiesel.

    They hypermiled this truck in the very beginning and achieved 38.5MPG in a loaded 4x4, then recently 41MPG in an HFE 4x2. On the highway I can constantly get 28-32MPG’s cruising 70MPH+
