There's one in my local yard too.
Well, I honestly do feel bad about that animal's suffering... But on the upside I love buffalo cheeseburgers.
@martin_cardonne: the rx-7 is not a 4x4 according to my research. it was RWD up until the FC bodied cars started competing.
the words "trying too hard" come to mind for most of these.
I passed up (kill me now PLEASE!) a running, driving and in otherwise good condition DeTomaso Longchamp in my area for $6,000 or so. Simply because I didn't have the cash for a new project and the fiancee didn't want another car in the driveway. Even if it was a lemon it would have lasted longer than that relationship.
@ectocooler: also im not sure because it's a night sequence, but maybe there was a Starion in there too?
seeing some of the lesser-known RWD japanese cars was a highlight for me. The pissed-off buzz of the SA22 RX7 and the way the FJ24 and 4T turbo contrasted it with their low rumbling hum just made me realize how lucky i am to be able to appreciate it.
I htought the Nissan QR engine did a pretty good job of destroying itself?
@Desu-San-Desu: Let's be real: nobody is going to impress ANY single ladies in their tarted-up Sentra. Ever. Period.
my friend's '93 mkIV makes way more power than that and skips on all the gaudy bodywork. he paid much less than that for it...
i love these Camrys because each one (v6-equipped) provides me with a single coilpack connector to replace one of the broken ones on my 1jz-gte harness.
Congrats to whoever designed the car, they successfully ripped off the 10-year-old Nissan Skyline's front end almost exactly. Hopefully it didn't take them the entire decade to get it finished.
@ Ben:
Wow. I expect that we will be seeing this video on World's Craziest Police Chases complete with edited-in sound effects, intense voice over commentary and *hopefully* the complete call playing in the background. I'm putting the Shiner on ice now.
Good show, dirthair. Looking forward to reading your next COTD as well.
