I’ve been told by my former roommate (who owned 2 while I lived with him) that taking the top off is a big no-no, and that the top will forever leak afterwards.

This is the only 4-Runner I’ve ever lusted after. If the top doesn’t come off, I dont want one. High hopes for the new Bronco. Safari top is the way to go.
OH MIGHTY WILLY, GOD OF THE JEEP AND ALL ITS ENTHUSIASTS,
“And that a lot of obvious jokes were probably made across the internet.”
Mustang’s Law: Anything that can be crashed into, will be crashed into.
because once they taste blood, they’re insatiable.
They were trying to reproduce, which is difficult for the Mustang since it risks physical damage.
The 4runner will outlive your kids. The Discovery might not outlive its warranty.
Toyota. Not even close.
It’s like people have forgotten what it’s like to feel the road through your feet, seat and wheel and how exhilarating g-force and a little tire squeal are. I’m ashamed at consumers for letting the RX-8 go out of production and that the BRZ/86 will go that way too if we don’t get back to our driving roots soon. For…
I can see that, but for me ... I was in love with the FD when it came out, but could not justify the expense for lack of utility since I was a lone early twenty something who was moving every year and thoughts of going to graduate school. When the RX8 came out, it hit all my boxes for a guy contemplating marriage and…

Mergio should be proud!
To be fair, Toyota has had the same experience at Le Mans as well.
Wish I could give you more stars for the brick and wood ramps, man those were the days. Do kids even do this anymore?

And you can still screw it up with the wrong polar orientation.
It isn’t their fault your ears are too insensitive to notice the huge improvement in transients and decreased breathiness in your music. Clearly this product is meant for the most discriminating listener, and only really adds to systems where care has been taken to optimize all areas of the setup, like amplifiers,…
We bought a machine at work.....it had a sensor option to detect if fingers were in the area before doing crazy things with metal. The sensor was an additional 20k and a lost finger is only 2.5k.
