With these expanded offerings, the new Ford Expedition SUV is poised to attract new customers who are more culturally diverse than the full-size SUV category has seen in past years, including more women seeking family adventures to balance the stress of their overprogrammed lives.

GM Execs: “Look when we said we wanted it to be automatic, we meant an automatic transmission, not automatic combustion.”

Did you ever read any of those Choose Your Own Adventure books when you were a kid?

1.35 yards, if you don’t stack above the rails.  Given its width, it's one of the biggest short beds out there.

Don’t forget your inexplicable Looney Tunes jean jacket, possibly with Tweety Bird dressed as an inappropriate racial stereotype.

I don’t really remember but...I’m gonna say acid washed jeans, a Hard Rock Cafe T-shirt (from anywhere you aren’t) and giant high tops.

I’d give you $5000, if it were done up as a Jurassic Park edition.

Yeah, this does seem a little odd. It’s designated as an offroad truck so payload is not expected to be that good.

This is why for trailers we have SAE J2807 now. It tests braking (any many other systems) performance to keep manufacturers from continually inflating that towing number.

Yeah, this was a fairly bad take. The off-road trims have a payload penalty, calling it the “top trim” and then making conclusions is bad.

having driven a transit with a “maxes out” payload of about two dozen car batteries and 1800LBs (i put them all on a scale to check) acceleration is no problem however STOPPING is scary AF. there was a steep hill on my route that i had to go about 20 under the speed limit on my way down because there was a red light

What a weird take. I mean, 1455 ish lbs is a really good number for an off-road trim. It’s more than a Raptor, it’s more than a TRX, it’s not that far off from a power wagon (non-tradesman)

Now truck buyers don’t need aftermarket parts shine a lightbar directly into my back window at night. Thank you Toyota.

The wheels do seem kind of small. As does that short bed. Like, comically so. How long is that bed, anyway? 4’?

Not the same thing, but I drive my 46 year old toyota 800 miles out to my friend in California from Utah hoping it would either break down really early so I could go back or really late in the drive then he could come get me
It made it right to his door, we took a test drive and it broke down two blocks away
So glad

Meh, all that does is show of premature  grey plastic when the UV turns it all grey after a few years.

Black trim around wheel arches  = impossible to remove residue from wax

That near vertical wireless charging pad is dog shit. Because when you accelerate briskly it’ll just cause the phone to just tilt back and lose contact with the charging pad. And there also wireless carplay. The necessity of staring at your phone at all is pretty much moot.

Same here.

I saw the title and was expecting a DT article.
