Agreed. I had an internship at a company (OEM) that did cast aluminum wheels and now work in powertrain machining sand and die cast aluminum components. The fact that these wheels made it to paint, let alone through final inspection is almost unbelievable

Yea this shit should have been caught before they ever left the supplier for sure.

I worked close with metal foundaries for a part of my job (I was responsible for production machining cast parts).

Easy. Saturn VUE Redline. Powered by the Honda  J35A3  V6 and I believe their transmission too. Would love to find a lightly used one but most have been ragged out.

The ZR1's motor was actually manufactured by Mercury Marine

And the engine was assembled by Mercury Marine. Pretty weird.

I thought the C8 was still a pushrod engine? Admittedly, I’m not quite 50 yet, I don’t own any New Balance sneakers, or awful pattern short sleeve button down shirts, so I’m not quite with it on my ‘Vette knowledge.

Yamaha also did the 4.4-liter transverse V8 that was fitted to versions of the Volvo S80 and XC90. Volvo and Yamaha went through a lot of trouble designing one that would fit and comply with Volvo’s stringent safety requirements. The collaboration between Chevy and Lotus on the all aluminum LT5 engine designed for the C4 ZR1 Vette.

Yep. GM owned a stake in Fuji Heavy Industries (then the name of Subaru’s parent corporation) at the time.

I will never forget the feeling I used to get when i hit 4,000 rpm on the tachometer. That feeling was extra special because I know it was not a turbo, but felt like one.

Personally I’m a fan of the McLaren-BMW collaboration that produced the greatest sports car of the 20th century - the McLaren F1.

Also, as long as people are mentioning collaborations with Lotus, let’s not forget one of their greatest works: The C4 ZR-1 Corvette:

Make me think of another great Opel/Vauxhall/Lotus Collab:

Ford Taurus SHO.

How can you mention the Toyota Cavalier without including a photo of the TRD variant?

What do you get when you put a big athletic Michigander farmboy in a gorgeously tailored Italian suit?

I feel that people that want this are already covered at a cheaper price.

My experience of the local ice cream trucks is that if you know the right words to say, you can get a baggie of weed or maybe a little coke. If the song is one thing, he’s holding and if it’s the other song, he’s out. No, I can’t remember which song is which.  Plus I kinda look like a plainclothes with my unfortunate

Instant No Dice! I can buy a freezer and a generator to power things for a thousand dollars, and this beat-to-shit Dodge van is probably worth $1000 tops on a good day. Not seeing anything here worth the asking price. Not. Even. Close.
